The meeting, TRIBUNE ONLINE gathered, was on vital matters about the Labour Party and the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo.

“It was an honour to be warmly received by our leader and the presidential candidate of our party, the Labour Party (@NgLabourParty), Mr Peter Obi @PeterObi, at his residence earlier today.
“We had an enriching discourse on vital matters about the Labour Party and more importantly, the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo.
“Mr Peter Obi and I both share a strong desire for the official campaigning period designated by INEC to begin so that we can continue to connect with the wonderful people of Edo, who have shown tremendous love and support for our cause.
“We look forward to traversing not just Benin City but every town and village in Edo State, engaging the people, and articulating our transformative agenda for sustainable progress and prosperity in our beloved Edo,” he wrote
