Bauchi lawmaker flags off second phase of Ramadan palliatives distribution

Share

Member representing Toro Federal Constituency in Bauchi, Hon. Ismaila Haruna Dabo has flagged off the second phase of distribution of Ramadan packages across the constituency.
While flagging off the distribution exercise, Haruna Dabo said that the gesture is aimed at cushioning the extreme hardship his Constituents are experiencing as a result of the high cost of living emanating from the fuel subsidy removal.
It could be recalled that the Member had distributed more packages at the beginning of the Holy Month where the APC officials, groups of politicians, Islamic groups, security groups, groups of orphans, and more received the items.

Similarly, the second batch of the distribution exercise is targeted to reach the nook and crannies of the constituency to allow those who did not receive it in the first phase to receive it now.
This is in line with his efforts to ensure fair and equitable distribution across Toro, particularly the rural areas to ease the prevailing economic hardship.
He assured that more intervention programmes are on the way for the people to reduce the present hardship facing majority of the people as contained in a statement by Sulaiman Isah B10, Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
